       The 10 finalists for this year’s Indie Game Challenge have been announced:



Symphony is a vertical shooter where everything is driven by your music. Every one of your songs becomes both a unique level and a unique item you can equip and upgrade.

Assume the role of the daring demolition worker Mike and start a devastating chain reaction on earth, use cool tools and weapons and expand your destructive powers!

Paradox Shift is a first person puzzle action game. As Inspector Carmen Medina from the Department of Time, you must evaluate the use of time travel in the creation of the Grand Canyon Dam.

As zombies pour through the city streets, players tactically direct military personnel to fend the undead onslaught while sending helicopters to rescue civilians.

Nitronic Rush is an experimental survival driving game developed by students at DigiPen Institute of Technology.

  • The Fourth Wall – The Fourth Team

The Fourth Wall is a whimsical puzzle platformer in which a wizard has the ability to control the boundaries of his 2D world.

  • The Bridge – Ty Taylor and Mario Castaneda

Manipulate gravity to redefine the ceiling as the floor, and venture through impossible architecture in this original approach to the puzzle platformer genre.

  • The Dream Machine – Team Dream

You play as Victor and Alicia, a couple who’ve just moved into a new apartment. While trying to get settled in, they soon discover that all is not as it seems in the quiet, unassuming apartment building…

The Swapper is a story about treating human beings as objects. Probably best described as an ambient puzzle platformer, it features game mechanics centered around the main character’s ability to create clones and swap consciousnesses with them.

Closure is a unique and stylistic puzzle platformer that takes the concept of light and shadow and twists it up into something never before seen.
